This agreement is only valid to the original purchaser (hereinafter end user) unless stated otherwise on the original invoice and applies only to Spas repaired in South Carolina by Carolina Service Group or MySpaGuy OR Spa Warranty Service Certified Techs (hereinafter CSG) NOTE: An Unpaid Balance voids all of CSG’s obligations. Unless “Parts & Labor Warranty” is specified on the original invoice - the warranty only covers parts replaced & requires defective parts returned to the manufacturer, distributor or dealer (hereinafter supplier) at the end user’s expense. Upon request by the end user, a defective part may be replaced with truck stock & CSG will submit failed part for warranty replacement. In situations where the technician believes the failure may not be covered under warranty, a deposit equal to the cost of repair - will be required. If a failed part is replaced and it is later determined the failed part was excluded from any warranty for any of the reasons set forth below or by the Supplier, the end user is responsible for the costs & labor incurred in said swap and deposit may be converted for said purpose.

This warranty is a “return parts to supplier for repair or replacement” warranty and honored by the Manufacturer, Distributor or Dealer & executed by CSG. During the covered warranty period, a warranty exchange fee to cover freight, packaging, and other costs incurred in swapping will apply after 90 days from the date of installation. If the Manufacturer of a part determines failure is excluded or not covered, CSG, at their discretion, may provide low cost alternatives or used parts at little or no cost; however, no warranty shall thereafter extend. In situations where a warranty is provided in excess of the manufacturer’s warranty, CSG will fulfill the role of Supplier during said extended period.

A WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY IF ITEM IS REPLACED AND PAID IN FULL - Inclusive of Parts and ONLY parts purchased through and installed by CSG. Labor Charges will apply unless a separate labor warranty agreement is purchased. If the part is purchased from and installed by CSG, a guarantee of labor is applicable. The respective Manufacturer or CSG may warrant the installed component, specifically against malfunction or loss of operation due to defect in workmanship and materials, to the customer for the period specified by this agreement, from the original date of purchase. It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain a copy of the receipt, proof of payment and this agreement. At no time does online registration permit the waiver requirements. If a Labor Warranty is not specifically stated on the original invoice, a courtesy rate cap of $50 per replaced item, per hour, will apply.  If after testing it is determined the part failure is excluded from said warranty – CSG may, at their sole discretion, provide alternatives with a labor rate cap of $50 per hour. Labor Cap Restrictions do not include currently posted applicable travel or trip charges. Part exchange fees to cover the cost of exchanging/shipping a part under warranty may apply (if not paid by the Manufacturer).

EXCLUDES: Failure due to; Acts of God, damage caused by neglect, misuse, abuse, improper electrical or incorrect water chemistry. Wear and Tear Items are specifically excluded and are determined and defined solely by the Supplier. Free Accessories or Parts; Lights; Seals; Gaskets; Pump Air Locks; User Defined Settings or Programming Changes &/or Adjustments, GFI resets, Divertors, Jets, Leak Patches, OR items for which you are not charged - are not covered by any Warranty or Guarantee and are chargeable at the current Non-Warranty rates. If a malfunction should occur and the Tech determines it is inaccessible - it is the customer’s responsibility to make unit accessible, and the technician is not responsible for repairs if inaccessible. Surcharges and/or additional labor charges will be incurred for any and all delays or return trip requests due to inadequate or restricted access. (e.g.Bldg Surround/Enclosure)

  • LEAK REPAIRS

CSG warrants that with a due diligence inspection, all leaks were repaired that were evident to the Technician on site, at that time. CSG does not warranty ALL leaks were repaired - only that a repair was conducted and that after the repair, that particular site was not leaking when the technician left the site. Additionally, just because a tech found one leak and repaired it- it in no way guarantees there was not another leak. We provide No Warranty whatsoever for repair "patch jobs”. i.e. No warranty is provided on a leak repair job where parts were not replaced in their entirety. (e.g. A filter housing is dripping from a pipe connected thereto. The tech, at the prompting of the customer, places putty on the pipe and wraps compression shrink tape thereon. The cost of the patch material is due from customer. The patch holds upon tech inspection; however, it begins leaking after the tech leaves the property. The cost of the labor, trip(if any) and patch material is due and payable. A trip charge to return and conduct a replacement repair is waived; however, labor is chargeable.) A repair job is defined as chemicals, synthetic or otherwise - repair material, putty, silicone or patch material utilized to prevent or stop a leak. If a leak should occur in an inaccessible spot it is the customers responsibility to make this accessible to the engineer or additional charges will apply.

ACCESS - Customer agrees onsite Technicians may cut obstructions or paneling to make the interior of the spa accessible and shall not be held responsible for repairs or reconstruction & or replacement of the obstruction to include, but not limited to, paneling (e.g. in deck placement – technician cuts a panel to access the repair site – CSG or the technician will not be responsible for repairing or replacing the cut
material.) Return trips, inadequate access surcharges and additional labor charges may apply in certain instances. At no time shall a fixed “Non hourly” Labor quote be provided in a limited access situation unless requested prior to service being provided. IF AN ALL INCLUSIVE QUOTE IS PROVIDED IT MUST BE PROVIDED IN WRITING AND ARTICULATE WHAT REPAIRS ARE INCLUDED.

    _____________________________________________________________________________________

    ______________________________________________________________________________

    * "On-site" labor ( "on-site" labor does not include travel costs to the hot tub, this will be made on a costs ONLY basis and must be paid prior to tech leaving the property and is the then current price posted on the web. A Travel Cost is per failure or occurrence.) † No Warranty other than what is stated herein is applicable, expressed or implied. Any warranty is only Authorized upon Payment in Full.
